Access and loading
Tell us what changes the work
Bulky items may need dismantling or careful carrying. Photograph stairs, lifts, narrow gates and the route to the vehicle. Identify mattresses, fridges, televisions and unusually heavy items separately because they can affect handling and disposal.
What happens next
We confirm the items covered, access, total price and realistic collection window in writing. The agreed service includes loading, transport and lawful disposal. For flats or managed buildings, make sure parking and building access are available for the booked collection.

Can you collect a sofa from inside a flat?
Yes, subject to an agreed access and lifting plan. Send the floor, lift dimensions where relevant, stairs, doorway widths and parking or loading position. Do not move a heavy sofa yourself just to obtain a quote.
Does the sofa need to be dismantled?
Tell us whether it is a corner sofa, recliner or sofa bed and whether it separates into sections. Photograph narrow doors and turns. Any dismantling must be assessed and included in the written scope before collection.
Can you take a mattress or other furniture at the same time?
Yes, suitable additional items can be included in the same agreed collection. Show every item in the quote photographs so loading, vehicle space and disposal are included; items added later need a revised agreement.
Do I need to leave the sofa outside?
Not automatically. Agree whether collection is from indoors or outside before booking. For an unattended collection, confirm access, exactly which items are to go and a contact person. Do not leave furniture on a public pavement without permission.
